Design + Build Story
At The Warwick Towers, the terrace fountain was always meant to anchor the space, a central element defined by reflection, movement, and material clarity. Over time, that intent had been lost. The structure had become visually muted and technically compromised, no longer performing as a focal point within the architecture.
The renovation began where it matters most, beneath the surface. Existing plaster and failing waterproofing were removed entirely, exposing the original concrete shell and revealing inconsistencies in the basin’s form. Rather than working around those imperfections, the structure was rebuilt from within. Layer by layer, plaster, mud work, and waterproofing were applied to correct the geometry, refine the lines, and establish a smooth, continuous surface. This process is not simply preparatory. It defines the precision of everything that follows.
With the form reestablished, material became the driver of experience. Nearly 800 square feet of tile was installed, selected for both performance and visual impact. The finish introduces a rich blue tone that captures and reflects light, giving the water depth and presence while drawing the eye across the terrace. The fountain no longer recedes. It holds its place within the composition.
What emerges is a structure that reads with clarity and intent, aligned with the architecture and expressive in its simplicity. As the system comes online, the final layer, movement, will complete the experience. At Water Line Designs, renovation is not about replacement, but about restoring purpose through precision.
