Located in one of Upper Kirby/River Oaks' premier high-rise residences, The Huntingdon Condominiums, this project presented an opportunity to elevate the property’s amenity level through thoughtful design and refined detailing. Water Line Designs was commissioned to redesign and rebuild the pool area, creating a space that would serve both aesthetic and functional needs for residents while maintaining the building’s reputation for timeless sophistication.

The original pool footprint was expanded to accommodate lap swimming, transforming the amenity space into one that supports both leisure and fitness. Along one entire side of the pool, an integrated bench was designed to allow multiple groups to relax comfortably, enhancing the pool’s flexibility and social appeal.

A limestone-clad fountain wall anchors the composition, bringing texture and movement to the setting. Custom limestone scuppers with bronze cap spigots introduce a touch of artistry and elegance, their subtle patina and precision detailing complementing the refined architectural language of The Huntingdon.

Every detail of the renovation was carefully executed to align with the property’s architectural stature and the expectations of its residents. The result is a serene and sophisticated pool environment that blends durability, luxury, and craftsmanship, an elevated expression of urban living in the heart of Houston's Upper Kirby neighborhood.
