Situated within Houston’s Memorial Village and Tanglewood area, this residence presented the opportunity to create a modern outdoor retreat that balances bold geometry with refined tranquility. Water Line Designs was commissioned to design and build a custom pool environment that complements the home’s architecture while introducing moments of visual drama and private relaxation.

At the heart of the design is a large geometric pool defined by clean lines and proportion. An expansive sun shelf extends from the main pool, offering a versatile space for lounging and play, while laminar jets create graceful arcs of water that bring both movement and light to the setting.

Adjacent to the pool, a custom water wall flows seamlessly into a secluded spa garden—concealed from view and designed as a private oasis for the homeowners. The sound of water cascading over the wall creates a calming rhythm, turning the space into a sanctuary of solitude within the larger landscape.
